Hand Forged: Adhering to the ingenuity by the blacksmith master using hand forged knife making techniques, including using a professional KMG grinder and professional heat treat, the 51200 high carbon steel has great ductility and maintains a razor sharp edge over time.

High-Carbon Steel Material: Selected high-quality 51200 high-carbon steel, imported, with expert professional heat treatment & tempering techniques, yielding high hardness and producing a sharp, durable blade edge.

Strong Handle: Solid Burma Padauk Burl wood secured with epoxy in a traditional Japanese Gyuto fitting. Feels comfortable in your hand for culinary arts professional performance.

Use and Maintenance: Dry any water or moisture after each use, put it in a ventilated & dry place, apply a layer of cooking oil (food grade use), gun oil/vaseline (non-food use) to the blade if it is not used for a long time. Do not bring the blade close to the open flame, or immerse it in water or corrosive liquid for a long time.

There are no absolutely no refunds for delayed orders or delayed shipments. We make each blade by hand, and will not refund for any reason after 48 hours from point of purchase. By purchasing any of our products, you are agreeing to this term & condition. This statement will be used as evidence to Shopify & financial institutions in the event of fraudulent chargebacks. Please do not purchase if you can not wait through manufacturing or shipping delays, as they occasionally happen outside of our control.

Makers Defects:

When we take pictures of our products, we try to get the best angles and the highest definition quality pictures. Any maker's defects or markings, or developed patina may occur which are not evident in the current picture. We polish and sharpen all blades with strict quality control prior to shipping, but please bear in mind that the made to order nature of each blade will produce different results than the listed pictures. No 2 blades will be the same, and you are ordering a custom made product similar to the listed picture but different, perfected just for you.
