As an avid axe lover, the owner of this axe can take pride knowing this is a 100% Handmade Axe. Hand Forged High Carbon Steel from recycled leaf spring metal. The rare Burma Padauk wood handle has been hand carved using a blade. Then, it was further shaped with a belt grinder and finally hand sanded to a high grit. Oiled with Badger Oil, a 100% natural, no chemicals added, hemp based oil. Used on canoe paddles as it repels water and is environmentally friendly.
