Story
The Kukri, or Khukri is a iconic blade type originating from the Indian Subcontinent where it is traditional to the Nepali-speaking Gurkhas and Kiratisof Nepal & India. The blade has a distinct recurve knife shape that serves multiple purposes as a strong cutting tool and favorable melee weapon throughout most of South East Asia. The Kukri blade traditionally serves the role of a basic utility knife of the Gurkhas and is the national weapon of the Nepalese Army.
Our Thai take on the iconic Kukri stays true to it's hand forged roots. A 6mm thick spine has solid weigh behind this blade which is great for heavy chopping while deep bushcrafting. The Pradu Lai wood handle pinned securely to the full tang S50C steel allows for sturdy construction to combat the toughest tasks.
